Better Late Then Never - Vow This Republic Day for a Corruption Free Clean India!
It's our 63rd Republic Day. If you retrospect, you would feel we have come a long way. We have seen big developments and drastic changes. Today we are free to do whatever we want. Our living standard has improved a lot. Everything and everyone seems to be progressing. May be that's what you think, because you have the access to internet and you can read this while sitting at the comforts of your home. But think about those who don't even have access to safe drinking water even today, those who still live on pavements, those who are below poverty line, and those who don't earn enough to earn two times meal.
May be you haven't seen someone dying of hunger. May be you haven't seen someone begging for food. We live in cities and think everything is going well. Political parties also spend a lot of money to display advertisements showing the growth stats of our economy. But let me tell you frankly, we are still sluggish when it comes to growth. And we can not develop fully, until the corruption is removed out from our country.
Our politicians, bureaucrats are eating up our economy. Corruption is so vast, that you can't expect anything to be done without paying bribe. Recent examples show the vast amount of our hard earned money going down the drain. Common wealth corruption, 2G scam are the recent examples that can not be forgotten. Thousands of crores were misused and are being misused.
Even the clerks and lower grade officers of our country have made tons of illegal money. Recently caught Raman Dhuldhoye, a clerk employed with RTO, owned 1 kg gold and other assets worth Rs 40 crore. Although his salary was just Rs 15000 per month. This is just one case, who knows there may be many more Raman Dhuldhoyes in our country if a pan India inquiry is done. Tons of money is illegally stashed into the swiss banks. That money is our money only. We earn hard to generate GDP of our country. We pay taxes and pay our bills. At the end of the day, government officials and politicians fill their pockets and when they can't fill their pockets then send the money to their swiss bank accounts. If this is not stopped, that day is not far when we will have to face an internal war within the country and everything will be ruined.
So, better late then never. Let's get up and vow this Republic Day to make India a corruption free country and participate actively to clean the mess all around us. No one will come and do it for us. We have to get up and do something on our own. Jai Hind!
Purdah System – A myth of orthodox Indian society!!!!!!!
system largely exists in India. The Purdah(veil) is simply the common name for this part of the house is occupied by women, purdah is that which divides the area of ??women `s the rest of the house. The system prevents men from seeing women. Even the head of the house and his sons are not allowed to see the ladies. The ladies do not come in public life, and the worst part of the system is that its influence is not only limited to a circle of family but society also. It rises to the family circle and in the home, women can not directly influence the men outside the home.
The system is not part of ancient Hindu life at all. It ‘was dominated by Muslims. purdah is always followed in Hindu families in northern India. Although it was not originally a Hindu rule, but was adopted by the middle and upper class Hindu during the Mughal and British rule, to improve their position in the social hierarchy. Purdah (veil) system among Hindu women in parts of northern India occurred during the Mughal rule, to protect women against the invading Mughal authorities, and now that India is a country Free women should give up the veil and educate yourself. So many classes among Hindus adopted an Islamic tradition of purdah and the Victorian tradition of the chastity of women to raise their social status. I cant understand one thing that while marriage every man can see the face of a woman, but when a pious and beautiful relationship is established between a man and a woman as a father and daughter, brother and sister; then what is the purpose of this veil or Purdah?
Origin of purdah does not really matter. The starting point is that the purdah system is only part of northern India today, in, south-west or east. Why? Apparently it is in northern India, which brought suffering attacks of invaders throughout history, and it is an indisputable fact that during the war and foreign domination, women are often raped and kidnapped. That’s why the system does not vanish in some parts of North India, in fact, has become entrenched in some communities. Women as remote and denied an education. This is the custom of women perpetrated by other women, and the cycle continues.
Despite the severity of the tradition has been reduced considerably, there are still cases where incidents such as honor killings, female infanticide, sati and continue to attract the attention of the media. Women are subjected, and yet they want to go up. But social change work to a crawl, and therefore, the observers must be patient.
We should not forget that this custom is a foreign custom had been introduced in India, or rather of Hindu society, and the Victorian concept of chastity was extracted from the British themselves. Although its been six decades of our independence, still we are following the chained ideologies of British that was brought into our country.
The system of purdah, no doubt, sprang from a design worthy of the relations that should exist between the sexes. We must increase, in large part at least of anarchy, of the dangers in an age when might is right, and jealousy of women who do not take an equal place in the family and social life, or that it is considered appropriate to do so. Do not believe that when the system is currently practiced, these views are necessarily women. The time when the system has taken its scale and to its influence on society strong in some communities and some parts of India, has left the survival of mistrust and anxiety, as they have been characterized, and n is not easy in India to escape from any system that has even addressed in the popular mind.
Government Scared Of Anna Hazare and JanLokpal Bill.
We have seen How Anna Hazare was taken into police custody, we have seen how he was asked to leave Tihar jail just after the public protest. We have also seen how he was allowed 15 days to demonstrate at Ramlila Maidan.
And now we can see how the government is taking useless and just embroiling the whole matter. It is evident that Congress(Government) deos not want that a strong Lokpal Bill should be draft and passed.
Congress is afraid of Anna Hazare and his strong Lokpal Bill. This is time for us to get united and stand against the Government. We need to get freedom from Ravanraj. We need to build a new India. A Corruption free India. Please join Anna and make his efforts successful and force the Government to bring a strong Bill. Join us and Appeal others too.
Issue of Corruption becoming a battlefield for politicians....and Ramdev Baba, Anna becoming hero of the public field.
These days I always listen people taliking that nothing is going to happen in India and no single Indian like Swami Ramdev and Anna Hazare can change the scenario of India. But sorry! my friends I don't agree with this because in history everybody was willing to gain freedom but no one was daring to move...there persons like Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Aazad and Mahatma Gandhi raised their voice just to spread awareness....yes scenario has changed in the sense that today people are aware but they are blind, dumb and deaf.....our so called selected representatives must be blamed and most important the guilty factor are we i.e. public who are not at least able to wish to help in any manner for any change for social good will.
Wake up India! Stop Corruption! Make yourself a true Indian Citizen!
An appeal from-
The team of Young India Association.
The upcoming event..........in Delhi..........Ladies special Bus Service!!!!!!!
Hey friends, I am back again with some of my recent activities that I am doing with Young India Association. I got an idea that Women reserved bus service must be started in New Delhi. I have to face a lot of problems while traveling in bus. The crowd of DTC buses or Blue line buses is so bad that I cant explain. They are used to molest girls even aged women. So, I thought we girls should give some answer to such type of boys and men who make fun of girls and enjoy a lot. This is another thing that Women reserved bus service must be started by our Delhi Government quite earlier but its sad that our government is only limited to types of scams and corruption files.
Friends this issue is not limited or specified for women group but its good for the bad identity of men group also. When this women bus service will be started then both men and women group will feel comfortable in bus. And of course it will be like a boon for all those working women and girls who have no other option of conveyance except Delhi bus service.
What are you thinking? This event in now in process. Young India Association is waiting for all the members and Indians who are with our upcoming event.
