Purdah System – A myth of orthodox Indian society!!!!!!!

system largely exists in India. The Purdah(veil) is simply the common name for this part of the house is occupied by women, purdah is that which divides the area of ??women `s the rest of the house. The system prevents men from seeing women. Even the head of the house and his sons are not allowed to see the ladies. The ladies do not come in public life, and the worst part of the system is that its influence is not only limited to a circle of family but society also. It rises to the family circle and in the home, women can not directly influence the men outside the home.

The system is not part of ancient Hindu life at all. It ‘was dominated by Muslims. purdah is always followed in Hindu families in northern India. Although it was not originally a Hindu rule, but was adopted by the middle and upper class Hindu during the Mughal and British rule, to improve their position in the social hierarchy. Purdah (veil) system among Hindu women in parts of northern India occurred during the Mughal rule, to protect women against the invading Mughal authorities, and now that India is a country Free women should give up the veil and educate yourself. So many classes among Hindus adopted an Islamic tradition of purdah and the Victorian tradition of the chastity of women to raise their social status. I cant understand one thing that while marriage every man can see the face of a woman, but when a pious and beautiful relationship is established between a man and a woman as a father and daughter, brother and sister; then what is the purpose of this veil or Purdah?

Origin of purdah does not really matter. The starting point is that the purdah system is only part of northern India today, in, south-west or east. Why? Apparently it is in northern India, which brought suffering attacks of invaders throughout history, and it is an indisputable fact that during the war and foreign domination, women are often raped and kidnapped. That’s why the system does not vanish in some parts of North India, in fact, has become entrenched in some communities. Women as remote and denied an education. This is the custom of women perpetrated by other women, and the cycle continues.

Despite the severity of the tradition has been reduced considerably, there are still cases where incidents such as honor killings, female infanticide, sati and continue to attract the attention of the media. Women are subjected, and yet they want to go up. But social change work to a crawl, and therefore, the observers must be patient.

We should not forget that this custom is a foreign custom had been introduced in India, or rather of Hindu society, and the Victorian concept of chastity was extracted from the British themselves. Although its been six decades of our independence, still we are following the chained ideologies of British that was brought into our country.

The system of purdah, no doubt, sprang from a design worthy of the relations that should exist between the sexes. We must increase, in large part at least of anarchy, of the dangers in an age when might is right, and jealousy of women who do not take an equal place in the family and social life, or that it is considered appropriate to do so. Do not believe that when the system is currently practiced, these views are necessarily women. The time when the system has taken its scale and to its influence on society strong in some communities and some parts of India, has left the survival of mistrust and anxiety, as they have been characterized, and n is not easy in India to escape from any system that has even addressed in the popular mind.

Issue of Corruption becoming a battlefield for politicians....and Ramdev Baba, Anna becoming hero of the public field.

These days I always listen people taliking that nothing is going to happen in India and no single Indian like Swami Ramdev and Anna Hazare can change the scenario of India. But sorry! my friends I don't agree with this because in history everybody was willing to gain freedom but no one was daring to move...there persons like Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Aazad and Mahatma Gandhi raised their voice just to spread awareness....yes scenario has changed in the sense that today people are aware but they are blind, dumb and deaf.....our so called selected representatives must be blamed and most important the guilty factor are we i.e. public who are not at least able to wish to help in any manner for any change for social good will.

Wake up India! Stop Corruption! Make yourself a true Indian Citizen!

An appeal from-

The team of Young India Association.

The upcoming event..........in Delhi..........Ladies special Bus Service!!!!!!!

Hey friends, I am back again with some of my recent activities that I am doing with Young India Association. I got an idea that Women reserved bus service must be started in New Delhi. I have to face a lot of problems while traveling in bus. The crowd of DTC buses or Blue line buses is so bad that I cant explain. They are used to molest girls even aged women. So, I thought we girls should give some answer to such type of boys and men who make fun of girls and enjoy a lot. This is another thing that Women reserved bus service must be started by our Delhi Government quite earlier but its sad that our government is only limited to types of scams and corruption files.

Friends this issue is not limited or specified for women group but its good for the bad identity of men group also. When this women bus service will be started then both men and women group will feel comfortable in bus. And of course it will be like a boon for all those working women and girls who have no other option of conveyance except Delhi bus service.

What are you thinking? This event in now in process. Young India Association is waiting for all the members and Indians who are with our upcoming event.

Celebrating 100th Anniversary of Womens' Day for Women empowerment and Welfare!!!!!

HAPPY WOMENS' DAY TO ALL MY FEMALE FRIENDS AND MEMBERS OF YOUNG INDIA ASSOCIATION!!

Today we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of Women Empowerment and Welfare. Yes, its International Womens Day!!!! A day when female society feel freedom and proud to be a woman.Today many functions, celebrations and offers are happening throughout the world. But do you think that by celebrating and organising functions we are giving a real sense to this great day???? My opinions are little different. Why should women be given reservations, offers for this particular day?? These facilities are provided to weak and helpless people. So, are women helpless? Undoubtly my answer will be NO. We are not helpless nor "ABLA". We are strong, corageous, versatile, multitasking, diligent, loving and caring. I am not a political figure nor a glamorous personality, I am only a woman.......a middle class working woman. I am handling my family as well as official stuffs also.

Many mishaps are occuring every day in India. We come to know about the surveys and graphs of Indian women both of rural and urban. Incidents of rapes, female infanticide and foeticide, dowry deaths, chile marriage, sexual harrasment etc. are happening every moment every day every where. So, do you think that only by celebrating Womens Day we can resolve these horrible problems in favour of Women welfare???? I hope your answer is same to me. We should give priority to development of our family. Reason behind is that a woman gives birth to a new life, so its our duty to provide them a lot of affection, care and support. After these factors a woman feels comfortable to survive her life in a peaceful manner. Women are getting priviledge but not priority. And this facility is reachable to handful of females, but what about the rest of the women? There are still many ladies whose condition is really miserable and pathetic. Scenario is changing but middle class women are still facing a lot of problems. The word "BUT" must be removed from the pages of Indian Womens' Life.

The day when all the woes will be abolished from all class of women, when women will be able to breathe in the open without any constraint; then only it will be a real celebration day for Indian Women. But for the meanwhile celebrate this day by serving our society, our country and yes making your self identity.

Your view are always welcome!

Celebrate this day with full grace and feel proud to be a INDIAN WOMAN.

A Dividing Factor - Reservation Policy

Reservation is a burning topic of our country at present days and everyone is quite aware of it. Politicians are masterminds behind the game of reservation system. Our constitutional organizers put the clause of reservation for SC, ST and OBC according the condition of those days. Those days’ people were discriminated on the basis of inequity system. So, Dr. Ambedkar moved to make reservation policy. But it’s unfortunate to come closer to the ugly truth behind reservation game. There is almost 50% reservation for SC, ST and OBC in every field, civil services, government services, education systems and many more. Do you think that this is fair and justice for meritorious students? What about those students who are securing good marks in competitive exams but in spite of this cannot get into it? On the one side we are talking that caste, religion, sex or gender etc. should be based on non-discrimination but on the other hand our constitution is defined on the basis of caste, sex and religion.

Reservation policy is affecting Open Category Students very badly. It’s not only affecting their career but creating envy in their mind against system and this prejudice. According to me, its really injustice for those students who do hard labor in their study, score good but can’t get admission into college or job because 50% seats are reserved and for those reserved seats people who don’t deserve but get admission just on the basis of caste. Caste-based reservation is of no use in the changed circumstances. This is even dangerous as it will forever keep the country divided. The politicians cannot be allowed to ruin the nation, now that they have set their sights even on globally reputed IITs and IIMs. They use to send their children as well as their relatives also. Our so called social representatives misuse reservation policy for the sake of their prestige and respect.

Its not easy for me to understand this policy because as per my view "A GOOD WINE NEEDS NO PUSH". It means if a student is intelligent then he/she deserve to take admission in reputed topmost educational institutes. At the other hand if a student is not only intelligent but not laborious also, then how can he/she deserve to continue their studies by replacing meditorious students. According to my point of view its totally unfair with those students who give everything for their passion to achieve higher education. In the same way I have found the same situation with the candidates who work hard to get a suitable job for themselves. Many person get job in companies only on the sake of referneces. And opposite to that if any candidate has no Godfather or refernence then he/she has to make his/her mind to seek job for a long term, even they possess good education qualifications, relevant experiences!!!

This is quite unfortunate for us that Reservation policy was framed for the development of our society. But now a days this policy is worst than insurance policies because these policies dont keep differences. Hard working candidates are roaming on road and castism based students are enjoying the benefits of the word "RESERVATION".
